Coat hook spy camera warning as perverts caught trying to covertly record women as they go to the ba

PERVERTS are snapping up cheap coat hook spy cameras and sticking them to the back of toilet cubicles to creep on people on the loo.

Police in the US have received several reports from members of the public who noticed the hooks.

But now it has emerged that the devices can be bought from UK sellers on Amazon for just £8.99.

The "hooks" have a tiny camera which captures sound and motion.

Creeps can go and collect the spy cams at the end of the day and download all the footage to their computer.

Some have motion detectors, so they only switch on when someone walks into the cubicle.

Many might purchase covert filming gadgets to secure their homes, but their popularity follows a number of shocking spy camera incidents in the UK.

Luke Whiting, was recently banned from all McDonald's after he put a camera in a female toilet at the takeaway where he worked.

The 21-year-old was nabbed when a woman colleague popped into a staff loo late one night and was stunned to spot the secret device.

A plumber dodged jail after he admitted to filming a pregnant woman in the shower with a spy camera he secretly installed.

And if you're not paranoid yet, a camera was found hidden in a vent above a customer toilet in a branch of Starbucks last year.
