Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter blew fans’ minds when they were photographed making out poolside in Italy on August 9, 2019. Less than 24 hours ltaer Miley’s camp announced that she and husband Liam Hemsworth were splitting up after 8 months of marriage and nearly 10 years on and off as a couple. Kaitlynn had dated ‘The Hills: New Beginnings’ star Brody Jenner since 2013 and the pair allegedly married in an Indonesian ceremony in 2018. Brody and Kaitlyn announced their split on Aug. 2 and soon she was spotted hiking in Italy’s Dolomite mountains with Miley and her sister Brandi Cyrus on an apparent girls trip, as Liam was nowhere to be seen. It wasn’t even clear the two knew each other or were friends before the vacation, where their romance sparked.  On Aug. 10, 2019, a rep for Miley told PEOPLE in a statement: “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
