My husband watches teen porn and it's putting a strain on our marriage
DEAR DEIDRE: I DISCOVERED my husband has been looking at pictures of naked celebrities during lockdown.
At first I managed to accept that men sometimes look at porn.

My team and I are working safely from home but we are here to help you as always.
But what bothers me now is I’ve found he’s watching teen porn.
Apparently they are all 18 or 19 so it’s not illegal but still it’s vile. He is a 56-year-old man.
We’ve brought up two daughters. He gets mad if I try to talk about it and says he’s not looking any more.
I’m 51 and although I still love him, this has put such a massive strain on our marriage.

DEIDRE SAYS: He is flying off the handle with you because he is so embarrassed. Like all addictions, a pornography habit usually disguises a deeper-lying unhappiness and also lack of self-confidence.
But he does need to face up to the effects of logging on to these sites. Find a quiet moment to tell him you are unhappy he’s looking at teens, when he should instead be focusing on your marriage.
If he feels your own sex life is flagging, then this gives you a basis to work on. Encourage him to have a look at The Kick Start Recovery Programme which offers free self-help at sexaddictionhelp.co.uk.
