A SAVVY shopper has shared the seven best bargains he spotted in Farmfoods this week.
But Elliot William, who regularly shares his handy tips and tricks to make the cost of living crisis more manageable, was met with mixed opinions on his online clip.

When in Farmfoods, Elliot found a whole chicken for £1.99, tuna for just 49p and ice creams super cheap.
However, people were ‘freaked out’ at the prices and said Farmfoods was like going back in time.
Farmfoods is a British frozen food and grocery supermarket chain based in Cumbernauld, Scotland.
There are over 300 shops in the United Kingdom, of which more than a hundred are in Scotland.

The discount devil took to social media to show off his finds, as he noted: “Farmfoods bargains this week.
“You have a whole chicken [frozen] for £1.99.
“Tins of tuna flakes for 49p each.
“Four cod fish cakes for 99p each.

“A three pack of Magnums for £1.29 each.
“Dairy Milk Orange 49p.
“[Nine pack of] white Twixes £1.
“And 7.5 kilos of potatoes for £3.99.”
At the time of writing, the TikTok clip, which had been shared under the username @costoflivingcrisistips just one day ago, had quickly racked up a staggering 270,200 views.
But social media users were freaked out at the prices and explained that Farmfooods was like stepping back in time.
One person said: “That chicken freaks me out at that price.”
Another added: “Stepping back in time.”
A third commented: “Farmfoods taking it back to 1998.”
Whilst someone else posted: Just goes to show how much the main supermarkets rip you off.”
At the same time, many social media users were stunned at the whole chicken being just £1.99.
One foodie claimed: “You’ll end up in A&E eating a chicken for £1.99.”
A second chimed in: “£1.99 for chicken? It’s a no from me.”
A third wrote: “Wouldn't trust a whole chicken for £1.99.”
Whilst another posted: “I am not eating that chicken.”
